TIPS@TIMed is a regional technology transfer office funded by National Biopharma Mission (NBM), BIRAC. It is a project implemented at SCTIMST-TIMed, which is a not-for-profit society. TIPS@TIMed is therefore not a government institution.

2. Is TIPS@TIMed profit oriented?

TIPS@TIMed is not profit oriented. Only a minimal fee is charged for the self-sustenance of the project.

3. Will TIPS@TIMed maintain confidentiality for the information shared with them?

TIPS@TIMed solicits only the non-confidential information from the applicant for the evaluation purposes. Only in case of patent filing, the details of the invention need to be disclosed directly by the applicant to the attorney.
